Back when Apple announced the iPhone 15 series, support for console-level games on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max was one of the highlights of the new A17 Pro chipset. One of the games that was shown at the launch was Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Now, after a long wait, the newest Assassin’s Creed game is finally coming to iPhones.
Ubisoft, developer of the Assassin’s Creed series, has announced that Mirage will be coming to iPhones and iPads on June 6, about a month from now. The game will be available officially via the App Store. It will also be a full-fledged rendition of the newest game in the series, instead of a watered-down mobile version.

For those new to the title, Assassin’s Creed Mirage focuses on Basim, a street thief-turned deadly Assassin, who also happens to be a recurring character from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game is set in Baghdad, and Ubisoft promises players a gameplay experience close to that of early Assassin’s Creed games set in the Middle East, before the RPG-era of the series began.
Which iPhones and iPads are supported?
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as all iPads powered by Apple’s M-series chipsets. Older iPhones and iPads will not be able to play the game. There has also been no official word on support for M-series based MacBooks as of now.
Interested gamers can go ahead and pre-order the game from the App Store right now. While it seems like the initial download will be free, the game does have some in-app purchases, which we will likely know more about once it launches.
