Apple Vision Pro finally gets Apple Intelligence with visionOS 2.4

Apple is rolling out a new update for the Vision Pro headset that brings the much-awaited Apple Intelligence features. This includes Image Playground, Writing Tools, and more. The latest visionOS 2.4 update also brings along new spatial experiences with a dedicated app for spatial content. Here’s everything you need to know.

All the Apple Intelligence features you can experience on the Vision Pro

The new visionOS 2.4 update is all about Apple Intelligence, as it brings a bunch of creativity and productivity tools. Starting with Image Playground, which lets users create fun and unique images from themes, costumes, accessories, and places.

Users can also create images using simple text descriptions, just like any other image generation tool. Image Playground is already available on other Apple devices, including iPhones, and it is now extending to the Apple Vision Pro headset, allowing users to get fully creative.

Next up are the Writing Tools that allow users to write better. Users can refine their words by rewriting, proofreading, and summarising text throughout the OS, including Mails and Notes. It also works with third-party apps.

One of the Writing Tools is Compose, which lets you ask ChatGPT to easily generate content. The feature also has a grammar checker built-in and lets you fix sentence structure, among other things.

Other than this, there’s Smart Reply in Messages and Mail that provides suggestions for a quick response to questions. The Vision Pro users also get access to Genmoji, allowing users to generate new Genmojis by voice typing.

Other features include Priority Messages in Mail, Mail Summaries, and Image Wand in Notes. Apple has also introduced the new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone to let users discover content and new updates for the headset.

There’s also a new app called Spatial Gallery that contains a curated collection of spatial content spanning art, nature, sports, culture, and more. Lastly, the visionOS 2.4 update also brings improvements to the Guest User feature, making it easier to share the Vision Pro experience with others.

As for how to update, you should receive an update notification. But if you don’t, you can head to Settings> General > Software update and look for a new update. Then, simply update your device and you should get all the Apple Intelligence features.
