Whether you’re a fan of Apple Music, YouTube Music, or Spotify, we can all collectively agree the best part about any music streaming platform is the annual insights that are delivered to us. The year-end wrapped typically gives us a roundup of our listening habits throughout the year, along with our top played tracks and favourite artists.
However, if waiting is not for you, Apple Music now plans to roll out weekly insights for users curious about their habits. Here’s how you can find yours.
Apple Music Weekly Replay: What's there to know?
Unlike Spotify, Apple Music users need to log into their laptop browser and visit https://music.apple.com/us/replay to enjoy its full experience. Once you visit the website, you will need to add your Apple ID and password to access your Replay data.

On logging in, Apple Music will give you your monthly insights in the form of playlists and top tracks. Apart from this, users will also be able to access weekly listening time and will be notified when they reach a new milestone with the total minutes played. Apart from this, users can share these insights with their friends and also revisit monthly or yearly statistics within the app archive.
While this is available with a few simple clicks, Apple warns that it will only be available to users who have ‘enough listening time’. So, make sure you listen to your favourite songs dedicatedly for a more accurate number.
The new feature is brought in to compete directly with Spotify Wrapped, which introduced plenty of new features in 2023. Some of these included Me in 2023, Sound Town and Artist Messages. Spotify Wrapped is only available for a certain period every year, whereas Apple Music users can access their Replay playlists within the smartphone or desktop apps throughout the year.
However, the insights still lack the shareability and convenience that Spotify users have with the Wrapped insights. That said, we can’t wait to see what comes next in store with both these platforms.
