Apple announces Mental Health Day award for Apple Watch users

It’s October 10, and on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Apple has announced a new award for those who log at least a few minutes on mindfulness apps using their Apple Watch. Users don’t necessarily need to use Apple’s own Mindfulness app, rather, they can use any third-party apps that sync data with the Health app on iPhone.

This move by Apple will push users to take charge of their mental well-being and promote emotional awareness. If you are ready to grab the Apple Mental Health Day award by blocking some time of your day towards mental well-being, then read on to know more about this award.

Apple’s Mental Health Day award: How to get it

According to Apple, Apple Watch users need to log at least 10 mindful minutes on any of the available mindfulness apps that sync data with the Apple Health app. So, you can use Apple’s Mindfulness app or third-party apps like Calm and Headspace to log the required 10 minutes.

However, make sure that the data is getting synced with the Health app by the end of the if you choose to use third-party apps. Since it’s a limited-edition award, you need to log your mindful minutes today itself.
