Ambrane has launched its first solar power bank in India, the Ambrane Solar 10K. The new power bank comes with a massive 10,000mAh capacity and features a four-fold solar panel design.
Ambrane says that the power bank is designed for outdoor usage, especially to help hikers and mountaineers, who may need a power bank that runs on solar power. Read on to know the power bank’s specifications, features, and price.
Ambrane Solar 10K specifications, features, and price
The Ambrane Solar 10K power bank comes with a beefy form factor when folded. When unfolded, it has four-fold solar panels to get itself charged with solar power. It’s a wired power bank with a capacity of 10,000mAh.
The power bank has 2-in-1 charging compatibility, which means you can charge two phones with both USB-A and USB-C ports. The former has a speed of 22.5W and the latter has a 20W charging speed. When both the ports are used together to charge two phones simultaneously, the power output will be 7.5W + 10.5W for the respective ports.
As per Ambrane, the power bank can charge the iPhone 15 up to 50 per cent in 38 minutes, whereas, the OnePlus 9R may take 40 minutes to go up to the 50 per cent mark. The power bank is said to charge the iPhone 15 for 2.2 times and the Galaxy S24 Ultra for 1.5 times.

The power bank also comes with a light indicator to display its battery percentage. The Made-in-Bharat power bank takes up to five days to fully recharge using solar panels.
The charging output via the solar input is 8.5W. However, those who plan to charge the power bank with PD chargers can do that too. With a 20W PD charger, the power bank can be charged to the brim in 3.5 hours.
Coming to the price, the Ambrane Solar 10K power bank’s MRP is 5,999, however, it can be purchased at an introductory offer price of Rs 2,799. Although owning a solar power bank can be handy for those who travel a lot, for some users, the regular power banks can do the job just right, plus they are cheaper.
