Artificial intelligence is everywhere today, and various brands are beginning to integrate the technology into their devices. Keeping its importance in mind, smartwatch maker Amazfit has also recently announced the ZeppOS 3.5 update, which will give the wearable device an AI-powered upgrade. According to the company, some of the new modifications will include an AI voice assistant, improved sports mode, offline maps and an expanded mini-app ecosystem, among others. This time, Amazfit has introduced Zepp Flow, which will allow users to engage with their smartwatch in a more conversational manner. This could include starting a workout or managing your daily to-do list with Zepp Flow, an AI-powered virtual assistant that can understand and interpret freeform speech. The brand mentions how this was brought in to facilitate natural conversations and rule out pre-defined phrases for accurate interactions. 

Next, users will be able to enjoy an improved interface, as the brand has ensured a ‘visually appealing’ experience. Amazfit has also added a bunch of new watch faces and has additionally streamlined its navigation app for its users. What’s more, the update now allows users to access offline maps for navigating without internet access.

Apart from this, Amazfit Active smartwatches will now get an expanded mini app ecosystem, which will allow them to browse through a library of apps on their Zepp smartphone app. Some of these tools include a Thermometer, Blood Pressure Monitoring and also a Bluetooth Environment Quality Assistant. Lastly, the new update will improve smart notifications and allow users to send, receive or respond to messages directly from their wrists, using only voice commands. 

How to get the Amazfit Active ZeppOS 3.5 update

The ZeppOS 3.5 update is now available for Amazfit Active smartwatch users via the Zepp app. If you don’t see the features on your smartwatch, make sure to check for the latest update on your Google Play Store or iOS App Store.

What are some key features of the Amazfit Active smartwatch?

The Amazfit Active smartwatch was launched by the brand in February this year, and it comes with a 1.75-inch AMOLED display. The wearable also has a stainless steel-frame exterior and offers up to 120 exercise modes; some of these include running, cycling, hiking and yoga. Additionally, it also comes backed with Bluetooth calling to stay connected on the go, and Zepp Coach, which can provide a personalised approach to your workouts. The smartwatch comes in three colourways and is currently priced at Rs 12,999 on the official website
