Smartwatches today come with a variety of features that go beyond traditional tracking of steps. In fact, the wearables segment has seen a considerable boom, with features like ECG and blood pressure monitoring being introduced by various brands. 

Amazfit, in its latest launch, has also introduced a smartwatch that comes with an AI-driven approach to cater to the lifestyle today. The Amazfit Active, launched with advanced health tracking metrics, was introduced with an AI coach to facilitate safe, personalised workouts. Here’s everything you need to know about the announcement: 

Amazfit Active smartwatch: Features to look out for

The Amazfit Active comes with a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 pixel resolution to provide you with optimum brightness. It features a stainless steel frame, light-weight design, and it comes with two weeks of battery backup. The company has also equipped it with Bluetooth calling for users to receive and make calls on the go.

Like any other smartwatch, the Amazfit Active comes with 120+ sports modes, and 24H heart rate, SpO2 and stress monitoring health features. However, Amazfit has added a first-of-its-kind AI-driven Zepp coach, which can cater to various training backgrounds and provide a more personalised approach to workouts. 

It utilises five satellite positioning systems for precise navigation during your exercises. Additionally, the watch is backed up with 5 ATM water resistance (up to 50 meters of depth), meaning you can be rest assured with it on your wrist while you’re outdoors performing an adventure sport. 

Amazfit Active smartwatch: Pricing and availability

The Amazfit Active smartwatch is priced at Rs 12,999 and will feature three colour options. These include Midnight Black, Petal Pink and Lavender Purple. The watch can be purchased starting February 10 and can be found across key e-commerce portals and websites. Other notable options within this price range include the Titan Traveller smartwatch and the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic smartwatch.
