If you’re a 3D creator, Acer just announced a laptop that comes backed with capable specs and a new display for a glass-free experience. The Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition laptop comes built with technology that will now allow users to view as well as create content in 3D. Wondering if the laptop is for you? The Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition features a 15.6-inch 4K display, along with a 3D mode and a 100 per cent Adobe RGB colour gamut. It packs up to a 13th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphic processing unit (GPU). Acer has employed the two to help process AI workloads as well as real-time rendering for an immersive 3D experience.

In addition to this, the laptop also gets as much as up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM along with up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. For video conferencing, the laptop gets a USB HD camera with Temporal Noise Reduction and can record at a 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. That’s not all. It also gets a built-in HD webcam. On the connectivity front, the Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition gets an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB Type-C port as well as Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 support.

The Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition gets an optical lens on its display. The laptop incorporates stereoscopic 3D display technology coupled with sensory eye-tracking technology. Acer claims that this gives the laptop real-time rendering abilities, and a system where visuals are projected or refracted based on a user’s eye movement.

Acer claims that the inclusion of SpatialLabs technology also allows a user to switch between 2D to stereoscopic 3D modes effortlessly. According to the company, the Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition is best suited for gamers, 3D creators, designers, medical professionals, or simply for film buffs who enjoy watching their favourite movies in 3D.

Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition: Price and availability

The Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition is available in two variants. The Intel Core i5 version with an RTX 2050 GPU costs Rs 1,49,999, while the Intel Core i7 variant with an RTX 4050 GPU is priced at Rs 1,74,999.

Other options within this price range include the Dell XPS 13 Snapdragon X Elite Touchscreen Thin & Light Laptop and the Microsoft Surface 7th Edition Touchscreen Ultra Thin Laptop.
