But it seems fans of this game genre are in for a spooky surprise. And that starts with the upcoming A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead game.
How A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead plans to scare you
Saber Interactive has shared a trailer of the game, ahead of its release later this month. The trailer shows how A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead may want you to go Shh.
The makers of the game have a unique way to keep you immersed in the game, and that’s by using the sound detection component.
In essence, the game will use your console controller’s microphone, allowing the in-game creatures to pick up any noise made by gamers. So, if you speak, or sneeze, or even whisper, the deadly creatures will hear you, and by the time you know, will be on your back, leaving you with no option but to run and hide.
This is an interesting take on horror games, as it will make the game more alive and not just something that’s playing virtually on your screen. This sound detection component will also aid the game’s storyline.
