Realme 10 Pro+ 5G launched: 5 features worth looking out for

The year may be winding down, but not all smartphone makers have packed their bags and shut their stalls yet. Realme has one last card to play, and it comes in the form of the Realme 10 Pro series. The lineup includes the flagship Realme 10 Pro+ 5G and the Realme 10 Pro. Both devices come with a bunch of premium specs without really burning a hole in your pockets. Here are five features worth checking out on the flagship Realme 10 Pro+ 5G smartphone.

5 top features of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G

Design: The smartphone not only boasts top-notch specs, but also looks premium. It all starts with a curved display, and a 93.65% screen-to-body ratio. The bezels surrounding the screen too are ultra-thin at just 1.41mm, while the bottom bezel is 2.33mm thick. Realme says that the phone is built on the ‘Hyperspace Design’ language with a thickness of only 7.78mm and weighing in at 173 grams. The device is available in three colours – Hyperspace Gold, Dark Matter, and Nebula Blue.

Display: The smartphone flaunts a 6.7-inch OLED curved display with a 61-degree Precision Curvature, and supporting 120Hz refresh rate. The device also has India’s First 2160Hz PWM Dimming Display. In dark environments with a brightness below 90 nits, where DC dimming won’t work, the smartphone automatically switches to 2160Hz PWM dimming mode. This maintains accurate recreation of colours and provides a comfortable viewing experience at the same time.

Chipset: Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, which promises smooth multitasking, stable frame rate even for the heaviest of games. The device has received a 5,20,000 AnTuTu Benchmark and has Dual SA modes, with support for 44 streaming bands. The chip is accompanied by 6GB and 8GB of RAM options, as well as 128GB storage.

Realme 10 Pro body

Cameras: There’s a triple rear camera setup onboard with a 108MP ProLight primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Up front is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling. This is the first Realme smartphone to be offered with HyperShot Imaging Architecture, which includes an AI photography engine as well as QuickShot Acceleration Engine, Image Fusion Engine and a Super Nightscape Engine. The realme 10 Pro+ features a Super Group Portrait mode, One-Take mode and Street photography Mode 3.0 with a provision for Watermarks as well.

Battery: Backing up the device is a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 67W dart charging. The smartphone can charge up to 50% in just 17 minutes. The large battery capacity plus fast charging supports means that one doesn’t have to be worried about being near power points.
