2024 is about to end, but the Indian smartphone market is only about to get spiced up. December will be one of the busiest month with more than five smartphones launching in the country from top brands like Vivo, Redmi, Realme, and more. Read on see all the exciting smartphone launches happening in December 2024.
Vivo X200 series
One of the biggest smartphone launches this month will be the release of the Vivo X200 series. Vivo X-series is set to get its latest entrant in the form of the Vivo X200 series, which is expected to include the vanilla X200 and X200 Pro. The series comprising both models is set to launch on December 12 in India.
The series is already available globally so we do know its specifications. The Vivo X200 duo is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is a chipset based on the 3nm node. The X200 boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The Pro model has a larger 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with the same resolution and refresh rate as the vanilla model.
In terms of the cameras, the X200 boasts a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP main lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The X200 Pro is equipped with a triple-rear camera system having a 50MP main lens, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Upfront, there’s a 32MP camera for selfies.
As for the battery, the X200 packs a 5,800mAh cell with 90W fast charging support. The X200 Pro houses a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless fast charging support. The device runs on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15.
Realme Neo 7
Realme might launch a new smartphone in the mid-premium segment. The Realme Neo 7 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

As for the optics, the device may feature a 50MP dual-rear camera system with features like Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The smartphone may pack the biggest battery in any Realme phone in India yet, i.e., a 7,000mAh cell. There will also likely be a fast charging support of up to 80W.
Redmi Note 14
Redmi will launch the Note 14 series on December 9. The series may comprise the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. What’s special is that these phones are expected to come with AI features throughout the system, including camera-centric AI tools.
All models are expected to feature a large AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. The vanilla Note 14 may boast a dual-rear camera system, whereas, the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ may have a 50MP triple-rear camera system. Expect a dedicated telephoto lens on the Pro+.

Apart from this, the chipset inside all the models will differ, having a mix of Snapdragon and MediaTek Dimensity models. Expect big batteries and up to 90W fast charging support.
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, Flip 2
Tecno has confirmed to launch two new foldable smartphones on December 6. The Phantom V Fold 2 will be a successor to the V Fold from last year coming with an improved design and features. The Phantom V Flip 2 will also succeed the original V Flip.
Both foldable phones are expected to come powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, big battery, and AI features. The AI features include Magic Removal, AI Image cutout, and an AI writing tool. That’s all we know so far, but since the launch is near, we won’t have to wait for too long to learn more about these phones.
Motorola Moto G35 5G
The Motorola Moto G35 5G is set to launch on December 10 in India. The smartphone will arrive in the budget segment and have impressive specifications for the price.
The device is confirmed to come with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, 50MP dual cameras, and a Unisoc T760 processor. The device will come with a vegan leather design, adding to its aesthetics. The Moto G35 5G will most likely launch the sub-Rs 15,000 price segment.
