The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500 mm F/5.6E ED VR lens is compact in size and light in weight with extremely wide telephoto zoom range to capture distant subjects with amazing clarity, clear image of fast moving subjects, close-up shots, wild birds, sports and aircraft. It uses ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass that offers superior sharpness and colour correction by minimizing chromatic aberration. Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization reduces the image blur caused by camera shake and delivers vibrant, detail-rich photos and videos across its entire zoom range. Sport mode in vibration reduction provides a stable viewfinder image, so it is well suited for capturing sharp images of fast action sports or rapidly moving subjects. Its Silent wave motor uses ultrasonic vibrations to focus the lens and provides smooth, fast and precise autofocus. An electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism operates in precise sync with the camera's shutter to provide stability in auto exposure control during high-speed continuous shooting. Teleconverter is used to increase the original focal length that provides precise autofocus operation and delivers absolutely brilliant image quality.
