Xiaomi recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, and with it, unveiled a host of new gadgets, including a new budget smartphone, a power bank and a robot vacuum cleaner. Xiaomi’s Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10, designed for efficient home cleaning, comes with LDS Laser Navigation for precise home mapping and four power modes. Here’s everything you need to know

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10: Key features to look out for

For starters, Xiaomi’s X10 is a 2-in-1 vacuum-mop robot vacuum cleaner. The brand mentions how the design ensures it tackles everything beginning from spills, to minute dust particles.

Xiaomi has equipped it with the LDS Laser Navigation feature, that can help precise home mapping. It even gets up to 4,000Pa of suction power, with four efficiency modes. These include silent, standard, strong, as well as turbo. Its automatic cleaning system, on the other hand, comes with a 17,000Pa suction power, and it ensures dustbin emptying, with a 2.5 litre high-capacity disposable bag. If that’s not all, it can also accommodate up to 60 full cleaning sessions.

The robot vacuum cleaner also comes with a 200ml electronically controlled water tank which allows 80 minutes of mopping, with adjustable water flow levels. Xiaomi mentions how this feature is great for comprehensive, spotless cleaning sessions.

Other features include hands-free dust disposal and the robot vacuum cleaner can even create personalised cleaning plans via the Mi Home smartphone app. The brand states that the X10 comes with smart obstacle detection as well as automatic drop prediction safety features.

The X10 is powered by a 5,200mAh battery pack, which provides for up to 180 minutes of continuous cleaning time with a single charge.

Xiaomi RVC X10: Price and availability

Xiaomi RVC X10 is priced at Rs 34,999 and is available in a single white colour option. The company has a special introductory price for the robot vacuum cleaner and it can be purchased for Rs 29,999 starting July 15. The X10 can be purchased from the brand’s official website or major retail outlets. Other options within this price range include the iRobot Roomba 0.6 Litres Robotic Vacuum Cleaner or the Ecovacs Deebot N10 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop.
