Spotify has made discovering new music and listening to our favourite tracks so accessible through smartphones that we cannot fathom working out or being stuck in traffic without it. The app has always strived to provide a personalised experience for all its users, from curating playlists for every mood and activity to introducing features like ‘Discover weekly’ and ‘Wrapped’.
Here’s yet another feature of Spotify that not only allows you to connect to music but yourself and different versions of yourself as you go through your day.
What is Spotify Daylist?
A Daylist is a highly customised playlist, made to suit your music taste depending on what day, and time of day it is. Spotify believes your playlist should be as ever-changing as your mood is.

The app analyses the pattern of your listening habits and adds tracks to your daylist accordingly. It updates itself throughout the day to bring you songs and genres depending on what Spotify thinks your random Tuesday mornings or stressful Thursday evenings feel to you. It truly gives you the whole main character experience with a personalised soundtrack made just for your life.
To make it even better, Spotify gives your daylists the wonkiest titles. It is fun to keep guessing if you’ll snort at the next title or feel attacked.
How to find your Spotify Daylist
The Spotify daylist is available for all, and not just the Premium subscribers. And it is super easy to find. Open your Spotify app and scroll down. You’ll find it under the ‘Uniquely yours’ section. You can also locate it on your search page under the ‘Made for you’ tab. Alternatively, you also can just type “daylist” in your search bar to access it.
To save it, tap on the three dots at the top right corner and select “Add to your library”. This saved list will update when Spotify Daylists are updated. To save individual daylists, you can select “Add to playlist” and then tap on “New playlist” to save a specific one to your library.

The daylists update every few hours, so if you like it, ensure you save it before it’s gone. You can also share this playlist by clicking the three dots and hitting “share”. Go find the soundtrack tailor-made just for you on Spotify and enjoy every moment like it’s your main character moment.
