Wakefit launches an AI-powered mattress and tracker to improve your sleep

There’s nothing quite like coming home to a warm, inviting bed that guarantees a good night’s sleep. However, more often than not, the quality of our sleep is dictated by external elements, such as temperature, noise, and the mattress we use.

Keeping this in mind, Wakefit has introduced India’s first artificial intelligence-powered sleep ecosystem that is designed to ensure sound sleep. Here’s everything you need to know about the announcement.

Wakefit Zense Regul8, Track8: Key features to look out for

Wakefit’s Zense series comes with two sleep solutions – Regul8 and Track8. Regul8 is a bedside device and bed cover that can control the mattress temperature based on a user’s sleeping hours.

If you’re someone who shares a bed, Regul8 can also choose the temperature for your side of the bed. The bed cover works in tandem with the device and acts as an add-on to your mattress. Wakefit also claims that the cover does not alter the feel of your original mattress, making it a comfortable addition to your routine.

Regul8 syncs with your sleep cycle and regulates the temperature of your mattress based on the hours. However, it also allows users to control the temperature remotely using the Wakefit Zense smartphone app. There are options to let you pick between sleep seasons and also preset your bed’s temperature before you hit the sack.

Track8, on the other hand, is a contactless sleep monitoring device which uses AI-driven technology to give you in-depth insights across your sleep stages. However, unlike a fitness band, it can be tucked away under your mattress and users can choose one for each side of their bed for a more accurate reading.

Wakefit also mentions how the device can analyse your sleep stages, track your snores or movements through the night, and give you a weekly overview of any trends.

Wakefit Zense Regul8, Track8: Price and availability

The Wakefit Zense series is currently only available for preorder, and users can prebook both for Rs 499 onwards. You can alternatively also opt for a combo, which begins from Rs 899 onwards. The company has however yet to mention an official launch date.
