Vivo Y200 is a mid-range smartphone with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor

The affordable smartphone segment is flooded with options from brands including Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, Tecno, and even more premium brands such as Samsung and OnePlus. Now, vivo has added to this segment with its latest offering in its Y-series lineup, called the vivo Y200.

The new vivo Y200 is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and comes in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. However, the device does have the Extended Ram 3.0 feature, using which the device’s RAM can be extended by 8GB.

Under the hood is a 4,800mAh battery with support for 44W flash charge. The phone also sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness.

Speaking of cameras, vivo’s latest offering features a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary, and 2MP secondary shooter, while the front gets a 16Mp camera for selfies and video calls.

On the connectivity front, it features support for Bluetooth 5.1 and USB 2.0, and features a dual nano SIM slot. The vivo Y200 ships running on Android-13-based Funtouch OS 13.

vivo’s new Y200 smartphone is available in two colour options – Jungle Green and Desert Gold. Available in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, it is priced at Rs 21,999.

Other options one can consider in this price range are the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, the Realme 11 Pro 5G, the Samsung galaxy A23 5G, and the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G to name a few.
