Vivo has launched a new all-round smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed the Vivo V50, the smartphone succeeds the Vivo V40 from last year and comes with plenty of upgrades. Some of its highlights include a large curved AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon chipset, and a gigantic battery. Here are the full specifications, features, and price of the smartphone.

Vivo V50 specifications and features

The Vivo V50 is built on the design of the predecessor, with a circular camera island on the rear, a ring LED light below it, and curved sides. The device has a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate support. The panel has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits for better sunlight visibility.

As for the cameras, the device boasts a dual-rear camera system on the rear with a 50MP main sensor having an OIS support. The main sensor is assisted by another 50MP sensor for ultra-wide shots. Upfront, there’s a 50MP selfie snapper with ZEISS optics. It also has an India-specific, wedding portrait studio feature.

The device draws power from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with Adreno 720 GPU. It has up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. One of its major highlights is the large 6,000mAh battery, which is paired with 90W fast charging support. It boots on Android 15 out of the box with Funtouch OS 15 on top.

The smartphone also comes with an IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance rating. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It has all the essential connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS support.

Vivo V50 price in India

The Vivo V50 is priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 36,999. The top-of-the-line variant with 12GB RAM and 512 GB storage costs Rs 40,999. The device is now available for pre-booking in online and offline stores across India. It will go on sale from February 25.
