Vivo TWS 3e earbuds with noise cancellation announced

Smartphone brands have increasingly begun to venture into audio products as well, especially TWS earbuds, with all major brands including Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, Apple and Samsung having several offerings across price points. The latest such brand happens to be Vivo, which has unveiled the new TWS 3e earbuds.

Vivo TWS 3e earbuds features and key specifications

The Vivo TWS 3e earbuds feature 11mm dynamic drivers and are equipped with DeepX 3.0 technology. The earbuds also feature intelligent active noise cancellation (ANC), which is quite rare for TWS earbuds at the price point Vivo intends to sell them at.

Other smart features on the Vivo TWS 3e include AI noise reduction for calls, which essentially uses AI depth calculation to replicate the human hearing system. What this does, is enhance a user’s voice on calls, drowning out all ambient noise around them.

The TWS 3e earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3 support and feature dual connectivity capabilities. They also come with a 55ms low latency gaming mode. In addition to this, the TWS 3e earbuds also have support for on-device voice assistants such as Google Assistant and Siri and a “Find my earbuds” functionality.

Vivo’s new TWS earbuds have a battery life of up to nine hours with ANC enabled, the company claims. With the same turned off, it goes up to 11 hours. Coupled with the case, the total playback time for the earbuds stands at as long as 44 hours in all.

Each earbud weighs 4.4 grams, and the weight of the earbuds and charging case combined stands at 43 grams.

Vivo TWS 3e earbuds pricing and availability

The new Vivo TWS 3e earbuds will be available in blue and white colourways, and are priced at CNY 179 (approximately Rs 2,100). However, bear in mind that they are currently only available in the Chinese market. Launch dates and pricing for other international markets and India, have not been divulged by Vivo as of now.
