A number of launches under the Rs 20,000 segment have been seen in the past few weeks. From brands like Realme and Redmi, quite a few interesting options are shaping up the market nicely. Now, a new entry by Vivo is the latest under-20k mid-range phone you can consider.
Not only does the smartphone pack a powerful chipset, but also a powerful OIS-powered camera. Here’s everything you need to know about the new phone.
Vivo T3 5G: What’s new?
The Vivo T3 5G succeeds the Vivo T2x 5G from last year. The phone packs a 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1800 nits and 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone also packs dual-stereo speakers, which has thankfully become a standard mid-range feature now.

Powering the T3 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. This chipset is powerful enough for multitasking, and will also let you game. Being a part of the Dimensity series, the chip is also 5G enabled, so you can use the next-gen network on your phone.
For camera needs, the Vivo T3 5G packs a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMS882 sensor and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). This is accompanied by a 2MP secondary bokeh sensor.
Sadly, you don’t get an ultrawide camera here, but what you do get is a sea of software filters and modes, including a Supermoon mode that lets you take better pictures of the Moon with the help of AI, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series phones.
The Vivo T3 5G also packs a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 44W wired charging. All of this is coupled with Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, which is great for those who like plenty of customisation options.
Vivo T3 5G: Pricing and availability
The Vivo T3 5G is priced at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, and Rs 21,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The device will also be available in Crystal Flake and Cosmic Blue colours, and interested users will be able to buy the phone from March 27.
Users who want a new phone under Rs 20,000, but dislike Funtouch OS, can also consider other options like the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite or the newly launched Realme Narzo 70 Pro, which comes with some cool Air Gestures.
