For those watching their budget, Tecno’s latest smartphone in the Pop series packs a punch with an impressive set of features and standout design. The smartphone maker, who recently introduced the Tecno Pop 9 5G, mentions how the device plans to tap into a ‘bold’ and ‘innovative’ energy for trendsetters in their creative ventures.

Tecno Pop 9 5G comes with a 6.6-inch Dot-In HD+ LCD display, and the brand has also added a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The smartphone comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and gets 4GB of RAM, along with up to 128GB of storage onboard.

On the camera front, the Tecno Pop 9 5G gets a dual camera setup at the back with a 48MP Sony AI IMX582 primary sensor. On the front, it gets an 8MP punch-hole setup for selfies and video calls. The brand has equipped the device with dual speakers featuring Dolby Atmos for those who like to enjoy entertainment on the go.

The smartphone ships with Android 14-based HiOS 14 and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as an IP54 splash and dust resistance certification. Tecno additionally ensures four years of lag-free performance. Lastly, the device packs a 5,000mAh battery and comes with 18W fast-charging support.

The Tecno Pop 9 5G can be purchased in three colourways, including Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky and Aurora Cloud. However, the brand has also thrown in two additional back panel skins in the box for those who like to switch things up every now and then.

Tecno Pop 9 5G is priced at Rs 9,499 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant and Rs 9,999 for the 4GB RAM, 128GB storage variant. The smartphone is currently only available for pre-order and will be available for purchase starting October 7.
