Tecno has announced a new tablet in the global market. The Tecno Megapad 11 is the brand’s latest tablet in the budget segment, targeting those looking for a value for money preposition. Some of the highlights of the tablet include a high refresh rate display, a large battery, and a host of AI features. Let’s see the tablet’s specifications and features.
Tecno Megapad 11 specifications and features
The Tecno Megapad 11 features a standard built, but what’s special here is the patterned design on the rear. The device sports an 11-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The LCD screen has an FHD+ resolution and 440 nits of peak brightness for better outdoor visibility.
The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which is an affordable chipset based on the 6nm fabrication process. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for more storage.
The device also comes with many AI features, such as AI Translations, AI Noise Call Cancellation, SmartScan, Intelligent Screen Recognition, AI Text Concierge, and more. The latter summarises documents for you, upping your productivity game. Besides these, the tablet also has the AI-powered Ella voice assistant to help you get things done with voice inputs.
As for the battery, the device packs an 8,000mAh cell with support for 18W fast charging. Tecno claims that the tablet can offer up to 15.1 hours of video playback on a single charge. Coming to the connectivity bit, the device has 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.2. It also has a USB-Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

In terms of cameras, the tablet boasts a 13MP single camera on the back with an LED flash unit besides it. Upfront, there’s an 8MP camera for clicking selfies and doing video calls. It has a quad-speaker setup backed by Dolby Atmos audio.
Tecno hasn’t revealed the price of the Megapad 11, but we should know more about it soon. As for the India launch, there’s no word on the tablet’s availability in the country. But if you want a similar tablet in the budget range (i.e., under Rs 20,000), you can consider some of its alternatives like the Lenovo Tab M11 and OnePlus Pad Go.
