You’ve probably heard the term ‘screen-to-body ratio’ thrown around in the context of smartphones. ? With smartphone display technology improving constantly, we’ve now reached a point where the screen of the phone can take up nearly all of the front-facing part of the device.
Screen-to-body ratio refers to the percentage of area at the front which is occupied by the display, as compared to the bezels and borders. Understandably, the higher the screen-to-body ratio, the better looking and more practical to use is the smartphone. The bezel-less look depends on a few things, including the borders around the screen, the size of the front camera module, and the form factor of the device itself.
