The market for premium headphones is a tad strange. While there’s a sea of budget options for users to choose from, premium features like good ANC and battery life will quickly set back Indian buyers upwards of Rs 25,000 – Rs 30,000.
Sennheiser’s newest pair of headphones, the Sennheiser Accentum Plus, hits this mark, offering a good set of features at half this price. Here’s all you need to know about the new headphones.
Sennheiser Accentum Plus headphones: What’s new?
The Sennheiser Accentum Plus comes with 37mm dynamic drivers for some rich sound, comprising deep bass and crisp highs. The headphones also feature Hybrid adaptive ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), which can adapt and control noise cancellation levels automatically based on the ambient noise around users.

The Bluetooth 5.2 headphones also come with support for a variety of codecs, including SBC and AAC, but also aptX, aptX adaptive, mSBC and CVSD. The headphones come with an 800mAh battery and up to 50 hours of claimed battery life with ANC.
Fast charging support via a Type-C port offers five hours of music playback with a 10-minute charge. There’s also wired support thrown in, allowing users to use the headphones when they’re out of juice or want a zero-latency experience during gaming.
Sennheiser Accentum Plus headphones: Pricing
The Sennheiser Accentum Plus headphones are priced at Rs 15,990 in India and will be available in two colours – white and black. The headphones will begin retailing from February 14 this month and will be available with leading online retailers.
Those who are looking for more options in this segment can also consider other options like the Marshall Major IV for a more bassy sound output, or the Sony InZone H7 for a more gaming-oriented feature set and design.
