Samsung has just launched its next product in the FE-series of premium-meets-affordable products. This time around, we get a smartwatch called the Galaxy Watch FE, which is a lot like the Galaxy Watch4, but with some upgrades.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, including price, features and specifications, along with a few key differences from the Galaxy Watch4.
Samsung Galaxy Watch FE: What’s new?
The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE comes with a circular dial, and has no rotating bezel. We have a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with 396 x 396 pixels.

The watch is powered by a Samsung Exynos W920 chipset, which is clubbed with 1.5GB RAM, 16GB local storage and a 247mAh battery. The watch runs Wear OS with Samsung One UI 5 on top.
Other features here include an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, a 5ATM diving rating, MIL-STD-810H rating for durability, and support for NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3. The watch also comes with a Samsung BioActive Sensor, which is a combined sensor for heart rate and bioimpedance analysis.
If the design and features feel familiar, that’s because the Watch FE is very close to the older Galaxy Watch4. However, there are some key differences. There’s sapphire glass on the dial instead of the Gorilla Glass DX+, and the Watch FE is available in only a single 40mm variant, while the Watch4 was available in 44mm too.
Samsung Galaxy Watch FE: Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE price has not been revealed yet, but we do know that the smartwatch will be available in black, pink, gold and silver colours. The Galaxy Watch FE will be available to purchase later this year.
We expect the watch to be priced under the Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic, which would put it up against rivals like the OnePlus Watch 2 and the Apple Watch SE.
