Samsung Galaxy S25 buyers may get free Gemini Advanced subscription

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in less than a month. While the series is expected to have all the latest hardware, a lot of new AI features are also likely to be on the cards. This also includes Google’s Gemini AI features, and this time around, buyers may get Gemini Advanced subscription for free when they buy a new Galaxy S25.

While it isn’t official news by Samsung yet, here’s everything we know so far around the reportedly bundled subscription, along with the expected specifications and features of the series.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series may come with a free Gemini Advanced plan

According to a latest report from Android Authority, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series could be bundled with a free Gemini Advanced subscription. Folks at the publication have managed to spot a code that suggests the same.

The code, which is an APK teardown of the latest Google app v15.52.37 beta, reveals that the Galaxy S25 series may launch with a free Gemini Advanced trial subscription. The series is expected to comprise the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Plus, and the Galaxy S25.

As per the code, all three models may have a different trial period for Gemini Advanced. The Ultra model may get a year of Gemini Advanced subscription for free. The Plus model may get six months of trial subscription, whereas, the base S25 may come with three months of Gemini Advanced.

It’s worth noting that this time around, there may be a fourth model in the series dubbed Galaxy S25 Slim. However, the code doesn’t reveal any details about its Gemini Advanced plan. Nonetheless, bundling paid version of an AI chatbot is a great way to lure users to buy the latest flagships. But what exactly does Gemini Advanced plan offer?

Gemini Advanced is Google’s most capable AI tool that is better at solving complex queries. This includes tasks related to coding, logical reasoning, and more. Gemini Advanced costs Rs 1,950 per month in India. So, if the Galaxy S25 series comes with a free Gemini Advanced subscription, you might save Rs 1,950 per month. However, it isn’t clear for how many months the offer will be applicable.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series expected specifications

Although Samsung hasn’t confirmed any details about the Galaxy S25 series, reports suggest that we may see the phones featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Expect up to 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The series may run on Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. As for the cameras, the new entrant in the series, the Galaxy S25 Slim, may feature a triple-rear camera system with a 200MP main lens. Lastly, Samsung may focus more on AI this time. Apart from the Gemini Advanced subscription, users may get some other AI tools throughout the system.
