Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is now official, and not surprisingly, it comes with a host of hardware and software upgrades. In this era of Artificial Intelligence, these new age phones are also packed with a bunch of AI-powered features.

Top Samsung Galaxy S25 AI features
Personal Data Engine
The Samsung phones come with an on-device AI feature called ‘Personal Data Engine’. As the name suggests, this feature analyses your data on-device, allowing users to get tailored experiences.

This feature also enables a bunch of other AI features on the phone, including the ability to search for an old photo in the Gallery using natural or descriptive language.
Now Brief
Now Brief, on the Galaxy S25’s lock screen, offers relevant suggestions accessible via the Now Bar placed at the bottom. Users can easily read all the relevant information like weather, health data, to-do lists, reminders and more in an easy-to-read format. Think of it as curated headlines made just for you.
ProScaler
There’s also a dedicated AI imaging tech called ProScaler, which Samsung says can achieve a 40 per cent improvement in display image scaling quality. ProScaler uses Samsung mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNie) that’s embedded within the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
New Circle to Search
The S25 phones also come with new Gemini features. The series is the first to get the updated Circle to Search feature for videos, audio, emails, and URLs. Simply, tap or circle around a URL, for instance, and you can see additional information about that URL. Similarly, the feature can now help you identify songs playing in the background.
Updated Gemini Live
Google’s updated Gemini Live is also arriving on the Galaxy S25 series, and all you need to do to access it is press and hold the side button. Then tap on the Gemini Live icon and add images or files to begin talking with Gemini like your friend. You can ask about images, files, as well as YouTube videos, helping you decipher complex tasks.
AI Select
The AI Select feature offers personalised suggestions based on what’s on the screen. For instance, if you are trying to type some text, then the feature will recommend AI-powered writing tools to help you write better. The feature can also suggest creativity tools if there’s some image displayed on the screen.
Audio Eraser
One of the notable AI features in the Galaxy AI suite is called the Audio Eraser. It helps you remove unwanted noise in videos using AI. This can range from voices, background music, wind, nature to crowd noises. Users get to either control or tone down these noises in their videos.
Writing Assist
Writing Assist on the Galaxy S25 series comes with new features like content summarisation, text formatting, and more. This allows you to write better with the help of AI.
Drawing Assist
Drawing Assist helps you bring ideas to life. It allows you to draw better with a combination of prompts, like text or image prompts, sketches. With this AI feature, users can get more creative, with imagination being the only barrier.
Call Transcripts
The new Call Transcripts feature allows users to get live translation of calls right on the call screen, without needing to switch between applications. The feature automatically formats notes, helping you better organise the transcripts.
