Samsung Galaxy S24 FE launched with Exynos 2400e, Galaxy AI features

Samsung has officially launched a new Galaxy S-series smartphone in India. The device in question is the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. As the name suggests, it’s a device from the flagship-grade S24 lineup, but with a new chipset and a comparatively affordable price tag.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE specifications and features

The Galaxy S24 FE comes with a design similar to the other Galaxy S24 models. It features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. That’s the exact screen size of the Galaxy S24 Plus, and slightly larger than S23 FE’s 6.4-inch panel. More on the phone’s screen, Samsung has used a punch-hole panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling.

As for the optics, the device has a triple-rear camera system on the rear with a 50MP main lens, having Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. It is assisted by an 8MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. Upfront, it has a 10MP camera for clicking selfies.

The device draws power from an Exynos 2400e processor, which appears to be a toned-down version of the Exynos 2400 chipset found in the Galaxy S24 and S24+. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of the battery, it houses a 4,700mAh battery, 200mAh bigger than the Galaxy S23 FE. Although the battery has become slightly bigger, the fast charging support is still the same, i.e.  a 25W charging. 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS are some of its connectivity options.

The Galaxy S24 FE comes with Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist, Composer, and Interpreter mode. The device runs on Android 14 out of the box and is promised to receive seven years of software updates. Other features of the phone include an IP68 rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Samsung’s Knox Vault support.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE price and availability

The Galaxy S24 FE is priced at Rs 59,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 65,999. It has three colour options, such as Blue, Mint, and Graphite.
