Samsung is set to kick off the new year with the launch of its new flagship S-series phones, and like clockwork, older phones of the S-series have received a major discount. Yes, we’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Both the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Samsung Galaxy S23+ have now received a price-drop of Rs 10,000 from their original launch price.
Samsung Galaxy S23 discount: How to get the Galaxy S23 for under Rs 65,000
To grab the deal, head over to Croma and search for the Samsung Galaxy S23 or the Samsung Galaxy S23+. You should see that the price of both phones has been reduced by Rs 10,000 compared to the launch price, irrespective of what colour/storage variant you choose.

The Galaxy S23 is now available at Rs 64,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 69,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ is priced at Rs 84,999 for the 256GB variant, and Rs 94,999 for the 512GB variant.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series: Should you still buy it?
Both the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets and sport a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide camera, along with a 12MP front camera. While the Galaxy S23 is a compact phone with 6.1-inch FHD+ screen, the Galaxy S23+ comes with a larger 6.6-inch FHD+ display.
While the discount here is big, do remember that the Galaxy S23 series is nearly a year old now. The upcoming Galaxy S24 series, set to launch later this month will feature upgraded specifications including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and presumably, a better camera setup. The newer phones will also get an additional year of Android and security updates down the line, along with all the AI-powered features Samsung has been teasing.

While you will just be fine spending Rs 10,000 less and getting the Galaxy S23 series phones (which are still very powerful flagships today), those who want to buy a flagship for cutting edge technology may want to consider waiting for the new S24 series smartphones to launch first.
