About three months ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy Ring globally. The first wearable of its kind for the brand, the Samsung Galaxy Ring brings the health features of a smartwatch, with the compact form factor of a ring.
Here’s all you need to know about the ring, including what it can do, how it works and how much it will set you back.
Samsung Galaxy Ring: What’s new?
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is available in nine sizes, allowing most users to find a size that fits them well. Samsung claims that the device can last for up to 7 days on a single charge, and comes with support for some Galaxy AI features. The Samsung Galaxy Ring also comes with its own charging case, complete with LED indicators.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring uses the Samsung Health app to connect with your Galaxy smartphone (although it can also be used with other Android phones), and it can do most of what a smartwatch like the Galaxy Watch7 can do, without the dedicated display panel of course.

It can also do other things like click pictures or turn off alarms by connecting to the phone remotely. The ring, designed for being worn at all times, is also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and can withstand depths of up to 10ATM.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is priced at Rs 38,999, and will be available on the Samsung website and other retailers in the country. The pricing, as you may have noticed, is slightly higher than that of other smart rings like the Ultrahuman Ring Air, and significantly more than the affordable than the BoAt Smart Ring.
The ring is also available in three colours – Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold. Samsung will also be offering a size kit to those who aren’t sure about what size of the Galaxy Ring is right for them.
