Samsung’s F-series is known for producing some of the best value-for-money smartphones in India. The latest in the series, is the Samsung Galaxy F05, which is available for less than Rs 10,000 and brings some interesting specifications.

Samsung Galaxy F05: What’s new?
The Samsung Galaxy F05 comes with a 6.7-inch screen with an HD+ (720p) resolution. The phone comes with a waterdrop notch design for the front camera. There is 60Hz refresh rate which is acceptable for a phone in this segment.

The Samsung Galaxy M05 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85, an octa-core 4G processor with the ARM Mali G52 GPU. This is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, which again is expandable to up to 1TB for those who need extra storage for their apps and files.
The Android phone comes with a 50MP main rear camera, along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features include a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio port and Bluetooth 5.3 support. The phone also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy F05 with Android 14 with the OneUI 6 skin on top. In addition to this, the brand has said that the phone will come with two years of operating system updates and four years of security updates.
The Galaxy F05 is priced at Rs 7,999 for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The variant is also available in a singular Twilight Blue colour variant. Other options around this price segment include the Realme C61 and the Redmi A3, both of which are also 4G phones with similar specifications but different Android-powered UIs.
