Samsung has launched the new Galaxy A05s in India. The new device brings the standard A-series build with decent specifications, and the OneUI experience, all under Rs 20,000. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Samsung phone.
Samsung Galaxy A05s specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy A05s sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution, which is enough for many entry level-users to enjoy everything from YouTube to some casual gaming.
Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset that will run most of your favourite apps and games including popular social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat. This is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is the only variant this phone comes in.

For your photography needs, the phone packs a triple camera module on the back that houses a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a single 13MP camera for all your selfies and video calls.
Lastly, the phone is kept ticking by a 5,000mAh battery and 25W fast charging. This should give most users an all-day battery life, while the 25W charging should help you top up the phone quickly.
Samsung Galaxy A05s price in India
The Samsung Galaxy A05s is priced at Rs 17,499, and comes in three colours – black, light green, and light violet.
At the price of the Samsung A05s, you can also pick up some other phones that offer slightly different specifications that may suit your needs and preferences more. These include Samsung’s own Galaxy A14 5G, the Redmi Note 12 5G, and the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite 5G.
