Samsung’s AI smart mirror will give you beauty advices

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2025 is about to begin and as usual, we are in for some of the most exciting and eerie products. While not eerie, Samsung’s latest gadget at its booth is reminiscent of the Mirror of Erised from the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

We are talking about Samsung’s AI smart mirror, which may not tell you about your deepest desires, but will give you beauty advice, just by scanning your face. Sounds interesting? Here’s everything you need to know about Samsung’s beauty mirror.

Everything about Samsung’s futuristic AI smart mirror

Samsung’s ‘MICRO LED Beauty Mirror’ is a reflective display that lets users analyse their faces to get beauty insights. As per Samsung, this AI smart mirror analyses your skin type and pores and provides you with a personalised skin report, followed by product suggestions. What’s great is that the AI mirror takes about 30 seconds to generate a skin report. So, it’s quick too.

Bear in mind that the AI smart mirror can be brutally honest as well and may let you know if you have too many wrinkles on your face! It may also call out your pimples but eventually suggest products to achieve clear skin.

The design of the AI mirror is also well thought out. It’s a tabletop mirror which means it can be placed at beauty stores. This way customers can scan their faces and get beauty products by scanning the QR code that it generates for each of its suggestions.

While it’s interesting and reminds us of the Mirror of Erised from the wizarding world, it’s still a product for showcase. What that means is that Samsung may not make it commercially available as of yet.

It’s worth noting that Samsung’s AI smart mirror isn’t the first AI mirror. Nuralogix, a firm that works on AI products, has its Anura MagicMirror, which can analyse blood flow patterns and offer health vitals.
