Redmi has announced a new budget smartphone in China. The all-new Redmi Turbo 4 comes with a minimalistic design, dual-rear cameras, and a massive battery. What’s impressive is that it features IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering dust and water resistance support, which is rare in the budget segment.
Let’s see the smartphone’s specifications, features, price, and availability.
Redmi Turbo 4 specifications and features
The Redmi Turbo 4 has a cleaner look when compared to the Redmi Note 14 series. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It has up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness for better sunlight legibility.
The device has a glass back with a 2.5D micro-arc frame. As mentioned above, it has three IP ratings – IP66, IP68, and IP69, which means that the device can easily resist high-pressure water jets. For enhanced security, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of optics, it has a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. The main sensor has optical image stabilisation (OIS) for stable footage. Upfront, it has a 20MP camera for clicking selfies.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It also has a 5000mm2 stainless steel VC cooling and an ultra-thin 3D IceLoop system to keep it cool.
