Only a month after announcing the 4G variant in the global market, Redmi has now gone on to launch the Redmi 13 5G for Indian users as well. The latest smartphone is the brand’s entry-level addition, and it makes a mark as the brand’s first budget device with a 108MP camera.

Redmi 13 5G key features to look out for
The Redmi 13 5G gets an elegant glass display and looks strikingly similar to its predecessor at first glance. The phone comes with a 6.79-inch display, and the brand has bumped up the refresh rate from 90Hz to 120Hz.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE SoC, which is accompanied by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded.
On the photography front, the Redmi 13 5G is equipped with a 108MP primary and a 2MP macro sensor at the back. It also gets a 13MP front camera for selfies. Interestingly, on the software front, Redmi has done away with MIUI and instead has opted for Android 14-based HyperOS for the Redmi 13 5G.
Backing up the phone is an upgraded 5,030mAh battery capacity. It comes with 33W fast charging, and the brand mentions how it can also offer quick power-ups.
Redmi 13 5G price and availability
The Redmi 13 5G is available in four colourways; these include Hawaiin Blue, Black Diamond, and Orchid Pink. The smartphone is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and Rs 15,499 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant.
The Redmi 13 5G will be available for purchase on the brand’s official website and across major e-commerce portals starting July 12. Until then, you can explore other options within this price range that offer a similar set of features; these include the Vivo T3 Lite 5G and the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G.
