Realme seems to be pulling all the stops to capture the sub-Rs 20,000 smartphone market, with a range of offerings across use cases.

These include the Realme 13 series, the Realme P series of smartphones, and of course, the gaming-focussed Narzo series of devices. And now, the brand has just launched its latest addition to the Narzo series of smartphones, the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G.

The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, coupled with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU. The device is available in three variants, with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.

The display on the device is a 6.67-inch OLED unit with an FHD+ resolution. The refresh rate on it stands at 120Hz, like most other devices across segments today, while peak brightness goes to as much as 2,000 nits.

For audio, the Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G gets a dual stereo-speaker setup. What’s cool though, the device also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack to help minimise audio latency while gaming.

Bearing in mind how it is a gaming device, the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G also gets a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The company claims that the device can run select games at up to 90fps in what it calls “GT” mode. To help keep it cool during the same, the device also gets a stainless-steel vapour cooling chamber.

Additionally, like the Realme Narzo 70 (launched back in March), the phone gets the Rainwater Smart Touch feature which minimises ghost touches, when the screen is wet. In case you missed it, the feature was first seen on the OnePlus 12 5G.

Coming to optics, the Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G gets a 50MP depth sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E support, along with GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo. There are two nano SIM card slots, one of which also doubles up as an SD card slot.

The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G comes running on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 straight out of the box.

Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G: Pricing and availability

The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G series of smartphones is available in three colourways – Turbo Yellow, Turbo Green and Turbo Purple. It is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, whereas the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage and the 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage are priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively.
