Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition announced with a monstrous battery and powerful chipset

Realme launched the GT 7 Pro last year, a smartphone that featured top-notch performance with its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, triple cameras, and more. But turns out, the brand was far from satisfied with what was on offer.

Enter the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition, a performance-centric variant that comes with similar specifications, and a gigantic 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Realme phone.

Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition key specifications and features

The all-new Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition builds on the design of the original GT 7 Pro, with a flat-screen display and a squarish camera island. While it also comes in the black shade, the Neptune Explorer Edition of the phone looks a bit out of the ordinary.

The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The panel is insanely bright, peaking at up to 6,000 nits. It also has features like 2600Hz high frequency PWM dimming and 2,600Hz instant touch sampling rate for a faster touch response.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. One of the phone’s major highlights is the monstrous 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. It doesn’t end here, there’s also 120W fast charging support for those quick top-ups.

While the rest of the specifications have been maxed out, the cameras have been downgraded, when compared to the original Realme GT 7 Pro. You don’t get a dedicated telephoto sensor. Instead, there are only two rear cameras – a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. There’s also a 16MP selfie snapper.

The smartphone also has an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, which means you don’t have to worry if you accidently spill water on it. The device boots on Android 15 OS out of the box and has Realme UI 6.0. It also has a stereo speaker setup for audio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
