We’ve gone from walking up to the keyhole to peep outside for visitors, to having a complex security system that lets you look at who’s at your door. But brands today have begun integrating cutting-edge technology into smart home solutions that can give you all sorts of updates on your mobile phone.
Keeping the growing needs in mind, Qubo has recently introduced the InstaView smart security system that takes the conventional video door phone up a notch. While users will still get a video call, Qubo takes this a step further with a wireless Home Tab that can be placed anywhere within the house. Intrigued? Here’s what you should know.
Qubo InstaView: Features and specifications to look out for
Qubo has taken into account the success of its predecessor, Qubo Video Doorbell, to create Qubo InstaView, which consists of a wireless Home Tab and Video Doorbell Pro. The wireless Home Tab can be placed just about anywhere within your house or even outside the premises for easy access to your door. The motive behind this was to do away with the limitations that come with a traditional door video camera.

The Video Doorbell Pro also gets improved specs and now boasts of 3MP 2K resolution camera with a sharper video quality. It also comes with a 2W echo-cancelling speaker and a better connectivity range. The Qubo InstaView works with dual-band Wi-Fi networks and the company claims that it can provide seamless connection no matter your floor plan.
So whether you live in an apartment, condo or multi-storeyed house, the Home Tab can function like a control hub for your residence. This can further be used to control the video output, talk to the visitor or even unlock the front door if required. If that’s not all, it can also double up as a digital photo frame that you can use to display your favourite memories. It even comes with an 8GB internal memory to accommodate the media of your choice.
Qubo InstaView: Pricing and availability
The Qubo InstaView smart security system is available across major e-commerce platforms for Rs 14,999. While the company hasn’t mentioned when it will be made available for a larger audience, it is expected to roll out shortly across retail outlets. If you’re looking for similar options within the price range, you can always opt for the Hikvision 7-inch video door phone kit or the Crabtree 4.3-inch video door phone Kit, which offer an equivalent set of features.
