Portronics Dash 4 Bluetooth speaker is here to take care of your poolside karaoke party needs

Portronics has just launched the new Dash 4 portable Bluetooth speaker in India. It has a 50W output, making it more than adequate for small or mid-sized rooms, or small groups outdoors alike. Moreover, should you want to alter its sound output, the device also comes with in-built customisable EQ modes such as a balanced mode, bass-heavy mode, accentuated treble, and more.

You can also switch between karaoke and loudspeaker modes, when using the microphone. Speaking of which, there is a microphone that comes included in the box. After all, what good is a speaker for karaoke without the microphone right?

Connectivity options on the Bluetooth speaker include support for playback via a flash drive, AUX, Bluetooth, as well as a dedicated stereo-out port for headphones and one more for a mic. There’s also an in-built FM tuner, should you happen to like to listen to the morning news while working out.

Now, karaoke is not just about the music. It’s also about the visuals. Well, the Portronics Dash 4 has that taken care of as well, with a mesh-textured exterior and a dynamic 360-degree RGB lighting system. What’s more, the lights can also be toggled to six modes – pure colour rhythm, vertical colourful rhythm, horizontal full-colour rotation, pure colour wave, colourful breathing, and warm light modes.

The Portronics Dash 4 comes with a large 8,000mAh battery, which according to Portronics, can provide for up to six hours of continuous playback at a stretch. This, coupled with the IPX5 water resistance rating means the speaker can more than handle poolside parties with ease. The in-built leather-strap also makes the speaker all the more easy to carry around, bearing in mind how it already has a relatively compact form factor.

It is priced at Rs 6,699 and can be purchased from Portronics’ website, as well leading e-commerce portals and partner retail outlets across India.
