Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has a reputation for producing some great value-for-money devices over the years, especially within its F-series. The newly launched Poco F6 is no different. It offers some great specifications, including the most powerful mid-range chips for phones available today, all at a very aggressive price tag.

Poco F6: What’s new?
The Poco F6 comes with a 6.67-inch, 2,712 x 1,220 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,400nits. There is also Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the screen. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is an upper mid-range chipset with 5G support and on-device AI capabilities. This is paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB fast UFS 4.0 storage.

The Poco F6 comes with a dual-camera setup on the back of the phone, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). This is accompanied with an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front of the phone is a 20MP camera that can be used for selfies and video calls.
Other features include a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging support. The Poco F6 runs on Xiaomi’s new Android 14-based HyperOS UI, and the brand has confirmed that the device will receive three years of software updates and four years of security patches.
Pricing and availability
The Poco F6 is priced starting at 29,999 for the 8GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/256GB model is priced at Rs 33,999. The phone will be available with select retailers online later this year. Some other smartphones you can consider at the price include the Nothing Phone (2) or the OnePlus 11R.
