Philips smart security Wi-Fi camera line-up launched in India

Versuni, formerly Philips Domestic Appliances, has made its entry into the home security systems market. It has launched three new smart security cameras in India – the Philips Smart Indoor Wi-Fi Camera (HSP1000), the Philips Smart 360° Wi-Fi indoor security camera (HSP3500), and the Philips Smart 360° Wi-Fi indoor security camera (HSP3800).

As per the company, this new range of smart cameras are user-friendly and are powered by artificial intelligence. Using this AI, the cameras have the ability to differentiate between motion, noise, and people, providing accurate alerts when necessary and reducing false alarms. Furthermore, they also allow for 24/7 control, with provisions for viewing as well as recording footage, and also responding to any security breaches remotely.

The Philips smart cameras also ensure data privacy with AES-128 encryption, the same one used by banks on their security systems. The Philips cameras are also capable of storing videos even if their SD card is removed, while a biometric lock for the app further prevents any unauthorised access or tampering.

Here’s a more in-depth look at the features of the three cameras, to help you decide which one is best for you.
