Oppo Reno 12F gets a Harry Potter Edition that looks magical

For all the Harry Potter fans out there, Oppo has announced a special edition of its Reno smartphone. The Oppo Reno 12F gets a Harry potter inspired design with a custom accessory kit that will make their ‘Harry Potter dream’ come true.

If only fans could use spells like Accio to summon this special edition smartphone directly to their homes! Until then, here is everything you need to know about this Harry Potter-themed smartphone.

Oppo Reno 12F Harry Potter Edition key Features

As opposed to the Olive Green and Amber Orange colours of the standard model, the Oppo Reno 12F Harry Potter edition comes in a chocolate brown gradient colour.

It also features a band on the rear of the phone under the circular camera panel highlighting the collaboration. The camera ring gets a golden hue that contrasts with the brownish surface providing it with an embossed look.

The 6.67-inch full HD AMOLED display provides clear and vibrant visuals and is sufficient for daily media consumption. It comes with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity which can be expanded up to 2TB. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

Under the hood, the smartphone has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC processor. It is an octa-core chip with 6nm architecture that includes two performance cores and six efficiency cores.

Coming to the cameras, the smartphone features a triple camera setup on the rear including a 50MP with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and an additional 2MP depth sensor for detailed photography. The front camera is equipped with 32MP which is ideal to capture selfies and attend video calls.

This special edition smartphone comes with a Harry Potter-themed custom accessory kit. It consists of a wand-like stylus, a golden snitch pendant or keychain for the phone, a Deathly Hallows-themed SIM ejector pin with a custom-edition charger that matches the theme.

The box that the smartphone comes in resembles a spell book. This edition also comes with a protective case. You will also find a Hogwarts acceptance letter with an engraving of the Hogwarts emblem making it a collectible item.

Oppo Reno 12F Harry Potter Edition: Price, availability

The Oppo Reno 12F Harry Potter edition Android phone has been announced in Peru and is priced at 1,599 Sol (approximately Rs 35,500). At the time of filing this story, there’s no word on a launch in other markets, including India.
