Oppo Find X8 series with Hasselblad cameras, Dimensity 9400 launched in India

Oppo today launched the Find X8 series in India, marking the return of the camera-centric flagship phones to the region after a four-year long hiatus. The Oppo Find X8 series succeeds the Find X2 phone here in India, which was launched way back in 2020.

The latest smartphone series comprises the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, both boasting a Hasselblad camera system, a Mediatek Dimensity chipset, and large batteries. Let’s see the full specifications, features, and pricing of each variant the series.

Oppo Find X8 series specifications and features

The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are flagship phones with premium built, featuring a glass-metal sandwich design. Both phones have narrow and uniform bezels, adding to their design bit. The Find X8 has a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz.

The Find X8 Pro, on the other hand, has a slightly large 6.78-inch LTPO OLED micro-quad curved panel with the same resolution and refresh rate. Oppo has used Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection.

Cameras is a major forte of the series. The Find X8 Pro has a quad-rear camera system with a 50MP 1/1.4” Sony LYT-808 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP 6x periscope telephoto sensor.

The Find X8 gets triple cameras on the back with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens. Both phones have Hasselblad camera tuning. There’s also OIS support for the main and telephoto sensors, allowing you to get stable footages.

Powering the series is a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Find X8 packs a 5,630mAh battery, whereas, the Find X8 Pro houses a 5,910mAh cell. Both have 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.

The Find X8 series runs on the latest Android 15 OS and has ColorOS 15 on top. It has a host of connectivity options, such as 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band GPS, and Wi-Fi 7 on the Find X8 Pro, while the vanilla Find X8 gets Wi-Fi 6.

Oppo Find X8 series price and availability

The Oppo Find X8 starts at Rs 69,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and Rs 79,999 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. The Find X8 Pro costs Rs 99,999, touching the Rs 1 lakh mark, while competing with premium phones like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, iPhone 16 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The new Oppo Find X8 series phones can now be pre-ordered at your nearest Croma stores, and will be available from December 3.
