Oppo A3 Pro 5G launched with damage-proof armour body, AI-powered features and more

Oppo has launched its latest smartphone — the Oppo A3 Pro 5G — which is built to withstand everything from accidental drops to occasional splashes. Oppo A3 Pro 5G key features to look out for

The Oppo A3 5G gets a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen along with a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. Oppo additionally claims the A3 Pro 5G is also the ‘brightest smartphone’ in the segment with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The phone comes in two colour variants, including Moonlight Purple and Starry Black. It features a glossy back panel and a rectangular camera design. However, the Moonlight Purple variant gets Oppo’s Magnetic Particle Design for a ‘flowing’ texture and the Starry Black sports Oppo’s Glow process matte finish.

The phone also comes equipped with a damage-proof all-round armour body and features a new reinforced internal structure. This includes a suite of drop-resistant materials, including Blue Glass double-tempered glass for the screen cover. This additional level of protection ensures the phone withstands casual drops, bumps and impacts. Oppo has also included a Splash Touch feature that ensures convenience for those who end up operating the phone with wet hands.

On the performance front, the device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM.

Speaking of optics, it gets a 50MP primary camera, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies. The device also comes packed with AI features such as an AI Eraser, which can help remove unwanted objects from the photo and the AI LinkBoost, which can help enhance network stability.

Oppo A3 Pro 5G: Price and availability

The Oppo A3 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 17,999 for the 128GB variant and Rs 19,999 for the 256GB storage variant. The smartphone will be available for purchase across major e-commerce portals as well as offline, at leading retail stores.
