Tablets are convenient for the time you need a middle ground between your smartphone and laptop. With top-of-the-line specs and powerful configuration, tablets today are available across multiple price ranges and mid-range tablets have gained popularity for their affordability and performance.

In an attempt to tap the segment, OnePlus recently announced the OnePlus Pad Pro at a launch even in China. The latest mid-tablet boasts of impressive specs and comes with a host of upgraded features. Here’s everything you need to know:

OnePlus Pad Pro: Key features to look out for

The OnePlus Pad Pro will be the company’s successor to the first-gen OnePlus Pad and it comes with a 12.1-inch display. For fluid visuals and gaming, it gets a 144Hz refresh rate as well. At first glance, the design appears to look similar to that of its predecessor. However, the tablet also comes with a metal casing and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus Pad Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and it offers up to 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. For entertainment, the device supports Dolby Vision HDR which gives viewers a much deeper contrast and a richer colour spectrum and Quad Speakers.

OnePlus has provided the OnePlus Pad Pro with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video conferences. However, the tablet also supports a number of accessories including the Smart Stylus Pro and a Smart Touch Keyboard, which comes with a split design as well as a touchpad.

Lastly, the OnePlus Pad Pro has a battery capacity of 9,510mAh and also gets 67W charging support.

OnePlus Pad Pro: Price and availability

The OnePlus Pad Pro comes in four storage variants and is priced at CNY 2,899 for the 8GB, 128GB variant (roughly Rs 33,280), CNY 3,099 for the 8GB, 256GB variant (roughly Rs 35,575), CNY 3,399 for the 12GB, 256GB variant (roughly Rs 39,020) and CNY 3,799  for the 16GB, 512GB variant (Rs 43,612).

However, OnePlus hasn’t mentioned if or when the tablet will follow suit in the Indian markets. That said, looking at previous launches, it is likely to make its way to Indian users soon.
