OnePlus Nord 3: Top 5 features to look out for

The OnePlus Nord series has made its mark in the mid-range segment since the first launch, and the Nord 3 aims to do the same. In case you missed the launch event, here’s a list of the top five features on the OnePlus Nord 3.

Processor

Under the hood of the new phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, offered with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and storage of 256GB. If this comes across as a bit of an overkill, the Nord 3 is also being offered in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration, meaning there are models across different price points.

Display and speakers

The OnePlus Nord 3 is being offered with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1450 nits of peak brightness. This, coupled with dual stereo speakers at the bottom with Dirac drivers and support for Dolby Atmos means your entertainment needs are taken care of.

Cameras

On the optics front, the OnePlus Nord 3 features a triple-rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary lens, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Furthermore, the device also features dual-LED flash, and support for 4K video at 30fps and 1080p video at up to 120fps.

On the front, the OnePlus Nord 3 features a punch hole cutout-style 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery

The OnePlus Nord 3 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery along with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. In comparison, the Nord 2 came with 65W warp charge support.

Other noteworthy features

The OnePlus Nord 3 also features the iconic Alert Slider, which was not present on devices such as the OnePlus 9, and the OnePlus 10T, amongst others. The switch was brought back with the flagship OnePlus 11R and OnePlus 11 devices this year. Furthermore, the device also features NFC support, as well as an IR blaster, among others.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is being offered in two colours – tempest gray and misty green. The device starts at a price of Rs 32,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, whereas the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 37,999, and will be available on the OnePlus India website as well as with all leading retailers and e-commerce portals across the country.
