OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 12R in a new colour called Sunset Dune. The new colour is the third option available of the smartphone. The new colour is one additional option to choose from, if you were planning to buy the OnePlus 12R, which is currently one of the best value-for-money phones in its segment.

OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune: What’s new?

The OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune is a new colour that seems like it blends gold and rose shades together for a new hue that closely resembles the old Rose Gold iPhones, but still maintains a unique identity of its own.

The new colour extends from the back panel of the phone to the body and the camera island. The company says the new colours and pattern are inspired from the flowing dunes of a desert under the evening sun.

Besides the new paintjob, the OnePlus 12R remains the same device underneath.

This means users get the same 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with an LTPO 4.0 screen for dynamic refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood, and comes woth a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC wired charging.

Other specifications include 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Yes, the Sunset Dune OnePlus 12R comes in a singular storage variant. The phone is priced at Rs 42,999 and will be available from July 20.

The OnePlus 12R is not however, the only good phone in this price segment, and if you are not satisfied by the new colourway, you can also look into the Realme GT 6 and the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G.
