Nothing has already launched a few products in 2024, highlighted by its newest phone, the Nothing Phone (2a). However, the brand is now working on refreshing its audio products lineup, and no, we’re not talking about another pair of CMF earbuds.
The brand is expected to launch the Nothing Ear (3) soon, something the company recently teased via its official Twitter (now X) page. The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the earbuds themselves. Instead, we see the regular batch of unique animals announcing the arrival of the product – in this instance, a frog and a beetle.
Nothing Ear (3): What to expect?
What we can expect from the earbuds, is a continuation of the transparent design that has now become a staple for Nothing-branded products, starting with the Nothing Ear (1). We’re also likely to see the return of a stem-design, a square case, and support for wireless charging.

The third product in the series, the Ear (3) is also likely to pack a bunch of updates besides the design. The Ear (2) came with some pretty neat features, including support for LDAC codecs and dual-device connectivity, both of which are also likely to be available on the Ear (3).
However, one major feature missing from the Ear (2) even at its Rs 9,999 launch price last year, was any form of 360-degree spatial audio support, something premium earbuds like the Apple AirPods Pro have been packing for a while now. The inclusion of some form of spatial audio, would indeed make the Ear (3) a proper upgrade over its predecessor.

A new pair of Nothing earbuds were also spotted recently on the BIS website, pretty much confirming the launch of the buds. BIS certifications are usually a good signal of a product being not very far from an actual release date. This could mean we may not have to wait very long to see the Nothing Ear (3) launch.
Of course, these are just speculations on our part from now. While Nothing has teased the product, no other official details are available just yet. We expect more concrete information to be available closer to a launch date.
