Summer’s almost here, and April is bringing a quieter lineup of releases before the big games start dropping. There may not be any massive blockbusters this month, but there’s still plenty to be excited about, especially for PlayStation and PC players.
Days Gone Remastered and The Last of Us Part II Remastered are finally coming to PC, giving fans a chance to revisit these PlayStation classics with better visuals and performance. Over on the Microsoft console and Windows, South of Midnight is launching as an exclusive title.
Detective Dotson is a story-driven adventure set in modern-day India, where you’ll solve cases while exploring its vibrant streets. If you’re in the mood for something more chill, Ekoh Beach lets you rebuild a town after a Robot Rebellion, mixing resource gathering with a unique sci-fi mystery.
April isn’t bringing a flood of new releases, but there’s still plenty worth checking out. Here’s everything dropping this month.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
What if a single painting could decide your fate? Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 drops you into a hauntingly beautiful world where the god-like Paintress can wipe out entire generations with just a brushstroke. This turn-based RPG from Sandfall Interactive takes place in a stunning Belle Époque-inspired setting, blending high-stakes storytelling with a combat system that rewards smart strategy and precise timing.
You’ll lead a team of unique characters, Gustave, Maelle, and Renoir, on a desperate mission to stop the Paintress before she strikes again. The game also features top-tier voice performances from stars like Charlie Cox and Andy Serkis, adding even more depth to its gripping story.
Combat shakes up the usual turn-based formula by mixing in real-time mechanics, like well-timed parries and attacks for bonus damage (think Super Mario RPG meets Persona).

Detective Dotson
Dotson never wanted to be a detective. He dreamed of being a Bollywood star. But when his father, a legendary investigator, dies under mysterious circumstances, he is pulled into a world he tried to avoid. Now, he is solving cases in the vibrant and chaotic streets of modern-day India.
This story-driven adventure lets you explore bustling markets, hidden temple alleys, and colourful neighbourhoods while meeting quirky and larger-than-life characters.

Solving mysteries is not just about collecting clues. You will piece them together on an evidence board, like filling in a sentence with missing words. Each case brings Dotson closer to uncovering the truth about his father’s death but also deeper into the life he never wanted. But it is not all detective work. Detective Dotson also celebrates India’s rich culture with dance-offs, delicious food, lively festivals, and even family weddings.
Detective Dotson launches on April 24, 2025, for Windows and the Microsoft console.
MotoGP 25
MotoGP has always been known for its steep learning curve, but MotoGP 25 is making some big changes to shake things up. This latest entry from Milestone introduces two handling modes, Arcade and Pro, giving players the choice between a more relaxed ride or the unforgiving realism the series is famous for. Career Mode is also getting a major upgrade. Now, off-track activities like dirt bikes and mini moto racing will play a role in rider development.
