November is here, and with it, the end of 2024 is in sight. But even though it’s a quieter month for big releases, the gaming world isn’t slowing down just yet!
First up, after 15 years, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl finally lands this month, bringing the series back in a big way since Call of Pripyat in 2009. We’re also getting LEGO Horizon Adventures, a fun reimagining of Horizon: Zero Dawn. This time, you’ll join a playful version of Aloy exploring a post-apocalyptic world made entirely from LEGO bricks. And, of course, the iconic brothers are back with Mario & Luigi: Brothership. This latest RPG entry will send them on a new adventure across Concordia’s islands, battling enemies, finding treasure, and discovering cool new abilities.

Fans of the Mario franchise are in for a treat with Mario & Luigi: Brothership! This time, Mario and Luigi are off to explore Shipshape Island, a unique blend of land and sea set in the colourful world of Concordia. Along the way, they’ll meet some new faces, including Snoutlet, a quirky flying creature with a funny take on identity. The humour you love is back, especially as Luigi continues to get into his usual awkward antics!
Gameplay-wise, you’ll control both brothers at once in a turn-based combat system that emphasizes teamwork. Timing your attacks and using special Bros. Moves will add some strategy to the action, while clever puzzles will challenge you to use each brother’s unique abilities. With a fresh art style and a nod to classic gameplay, Mario & Luigi: Brothership is sure to delight both longtime fans and newcomers alike. 3. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

4. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl
After a long wait, fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series can finally get excited because Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is just around the corner, dropping on November 20, 2024. This sequel to Call of Pripyat is set in the eerie Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where danger lurks around every corner. You’ll explore a massive open world with over 60 square kilometres, stepping into the shoes of Skif, a new character navigating a land filled with deadly mutants and rival factions.

5. Slitterhead
If you’re into horror games, you’ll want to keep an eye on Slitterhead. This is the first game from Bokeh Game Studio, created by Keiichiro Toyama, the mastermind behind Silent Hill. Set in the eerie streets of Kowloon during the 1990s, you’ll face off against terrifying monsters known as Slitterheads.
The game follows a unique story where you control a spiritual entity without a physical form, allowing you to possess the bodies of the city’s residents to fight back against the horrors. This “Possession system” adds a fun twist to the gameplay, letting you switch hosts on the fly as you navigate through the city. Slitterhead is heavily influenced by Japanese horror, with unsettling designs and a creepy atmosphere that will keep you on edge.

6. The Rise of the Golden Idol
If you’ve played 2022’s The Case of the Golden Idol, you’ll definitely want to check out The Rise of the Golden Idol. This sequel takes you back to the 1970s, where you’ll follow a daring relic hunter on a hunt for a legendary stone monkey idol believed to hold world-changing powers.
