Motorola has just announced the latest phone in its Razr series of flipping clamshell-style devices. The new phone launches just days ahead of Samsung unveiling the Galaxy Z Flip6, one of the other popular Flip phones you will soon be able to choose. Here’s everything you need to know about Motorola’s latest device.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra: What’s new?
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra comes with a large 6.9-inch inner display, which has FHD+ resolution and dynamic refresh rate up to 165Hz thanks to an LTPO panel. This is also a pOLED screen, offer better contrasts and colours than your average LCD displays.

The phone also comes with a 4-inch FHD+ outer display that is also a pOLED panel with dynamic refresh rate. The phone also comes with Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the screens and IPX8 water resistance. The device has also been tested for 6,00,000 folds.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, that is clubbed with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone comes with a 50MP main camera and 50MP 2x telephoto camera on the back, and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a 4,000mAh battery with 44W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support.
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra also comes with three months of Google Gemini Advanced AI, which brings some of the best Gemini feature along with 2TB cloud storage and Gemini access in Google apps like Gmail, Docs and more.
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is priced at Rs 99,999 and will be available in Spring Green, Peach Fuzz and Midnight Blue colours. Other flip phones in this price include the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, which offers a more powerful chipset in the same price. Alternatively, you can wait for the newer Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is set to launch next week on July 10.
